Hysteroscopy is a minimally invasive surgical and diagnostic procedure for studying the inside of the uterus. A thin and lighted fibre optic telescope is inserted into the vagina and carefully moved into the cervix. A clear image of the uterus is projected on the screen to facilitate observation, diagnosis, and treatment.
